Blacksmithing Workshop Saturday We’re excited to welcome you to a hands-on workshop where you can try your hand at the ancient art of blacksmithing. Workshop Details Duration: 2.5 hours Cost: $50 (includes all materials) Location: The Barn, 158 Garbolino Road, Mangawhai Join us for a creative session where you will be introduced to this traditional crafts: Blacksmithing Experience working with fire and metal as you learn basic forging techniques to create a small project such as a fire poker or hook. At the same time there will be a leather craft workshop going ahead. Who Can Join This workshop is recommended for ages 15 and up. For ages 12 and over, we also run a regular Wednesday after-school program. Please get in touch if you are interested. What to Bring - Notebook and pen (optional, for taking notes) - Snacks and water - Sturdy shoes - For blacksmithing: wear full-fitting natural fibre clothing (no synthetic outerwear) We are hoping to make this a regular workshop, with more dates to come.
